The Naturopathic Centre has developed its own comprehensive and professional natural fertility programme for couples who want to increase their chances of conceiving and having a healthy baby in the least invasive manner possible. Our considerable success rate to date has been based on using an integrated approach to treat the combination of issues which may be affecting your ability to conceive or to sustain a pregnancy. Our programmes have been developed for both men and women.
Background to Natural Fertility
Over the past twenty years, fertility problems have increased dramatically. Figures vary, with estimates of between 1 in 4 and 1 in 7 couples planning a baby having trouble conceiving, and more and more couples turning to fertility treatments to help them have a family.
The common physical causes are:
-
Conception – ovulation problems, fallopian tube damage or endometriosis;
-
Miscarriage - imbalance in pregnancy hormones, problems with the immune system or serious infection;
-
Male fertility - this is the case in around 40% to 50% of couples. Sperm problems account for some 75% of male infertility cases;
-
Unknown - following thorough investigations, doctors can find no specific or identifiable medical problem at the root;
It is exactly our multi-faceted approach to fertility that can help identify and address the causes of these problems and we will recommend an individual programme to best prepare you for pregnancy.

How long will it take?
There is a minimum 3 months' commitment. This is how long it takes to produce new eggs and sperm. Six months is more realistic and you have up to one year from initial assessment to complete your programme.
Who would benefit from P2P?
The P2P programme is suited particularly to couples who feel they have tried everything; older couples, especially 35+; and those with a history of miscarriage or unexplained infertility. It may also be suited to couples who find the cost of other treatments prohibitive. It can improve chances on Conventionally Assisted Conception and prepare for optimal health in advance of pregnancy.
